screenwriting
A screenplay and a product start in the same place
On the surprising likeness between a logline and a product vision.

A screenplay's logline says it in one sentence: who, what they want, what stands in their way. A good product vision does exactly the same.
Character = user
Screenwriters separate what their characters want from what they need. When building products, the user wants something, but the real need is often elsewhere.
Conflict = problem
There is no story without conflict; and no product without a problem.
